When We Wear Masks
Today is Halloween, and in the spirit of Halloween
we will talk today about masks.
Everyone at some point puts up symbolic masks, when we
try to be someone who we are
not, and this is not necessarily hypocrisy; because it
may be a mask we wear to hide our sadness or some other emotion we do not want to show.
Several different types of masks that most people put up
are:
We wear Masks to hide sadness, hatred, shame ... ones to hide from others the fact that we may love someone that does not love us back, or to not let the world know that we are abused by someone.
But masks can also be hypocrisy masks we wear
when we pretend to
be nice to someone we dislike
and many other similar situations.
Do you wear masks in your daily life? What kind of masks you wear? Do you think its okay to live masked? What do you think you would need to live a more open life without masks?
