Lo Que Hagamos en Las Redes Sociales Nos Impacta En Nuestro Trabajo/What We Do on Social Networks Impacts Our Work Life

What We Do on Social Networks Impacts Our Work Life

Many young people do not know this, but every day more and more companies are adopting stricter rules regarding the use of social networks. Today almost all jobs have clauses in the contract that refer to the use of the Internet and social networks.

Companies not only can prevent the use of work computers for personal use but they have some control (or try to have it) over your use of social networks within and outside of your work hours.

Basically if you represent yourself on the internet, whether in a social network or a personal blog, as an employee of that company and do something that goes against the rules of the company you could run the risk of being fired by your social media behavior even outside working hours.

What does this mean? It means that if you mention on Facebook at some point that you're an employee of company X and then on a weekend you go out with your friends and you got drunk and made a fool of yourself, and say that your job is being a teacher, or lawyer or police or any other work that is frowned upon then you could get fired.

Another example is if you are a delivery person and you post on Snapchat videos of you driving, keep in mind that not only are you breaking the law (since it is illegal to drive with a cell phone in hand) but your boss or co-worker could report you and you could lose your job.

Many young people today spend their time putting pictures of themselves smoking marijuana, being drunk at parties, saying vulgarities or any other inappropriate thing. And this article is to tell you that when you go to look for a job your potential boss will go to Google and will search your email, your name and your phone to see what they can find on the internet about you. And then depending on what they find they will determine if you get the job or not.

Take good care your social image, as computers and social networks have already been incorporated into everything, and if there is something on the internet that you wouldn’t openly say to your boss, then it's time to re-evaluate your decisions and cleanse your social reputation.

Do you have an example of a time when you were judged by your behavior on social networks?

Acaso El Amor Verdadero Sobrevive Una Desgracia/Can True Love Overcome a Tragedy?

¿Acaso El Amor Verdadero Sobrevive Una Desgracia?

Can True Love Overcome a Tragedy?

Today after seeing the film DeadPool this topic came to my mind about this issue that is Love. Not what most people call love, but that pure and genuine love that overcomes all obstacles that come your way.

In the film, the character that would later become DeadPool found the love of his life, that person with which all moments are spectacular, one with which you live your daily life and it is interesting.

But something happens that turns their world upside down when he discovers he has terminal cancer and will die. His girlfriend is willing to fight to the end, to be with him until his last day and not give up, but he thinks the cancer destroys families and he does not want to make his girlfriend suffer so he decides to disappear from her life, looking for a cure.

While he was looking for something to heal him, he found some people who turned him into a mutant, giving him super powers and supernatural ability to heal, but in exchange for a completely disfigured body.

To be healthy, but marred, he did not dare go back to his girlfriend due to fear of being rejected by his ugliness.

This is where I want to make my point. Men and women, you must realize something. When someone loves you, really loves, those who are pure of heart, they want to be by your side, no matter what disease you have, or how ugly you are.

People prefer to be with them in illness, suffering, and ugliness, than not to be near them.

I don’t know if it's something only men think mostly because it is much more common to hear men say that they prefer to leave their wives than to let her see him disabled, or ugly, or sick. But I'm pretty sure that if the thing was the other way around they would not leave their wife, but would be there with her until the end.

Then I want you men to realize that if you are willing to be with your wives no matter if they get sick, become disabled or disfigured, what makes you think they would not do the same for you?

True love is always there, and accepts you just as you are, and how you become. It is changeable, and stable.

What do you think? Do you think true love stands firm when suffering comes? Or do you think not?

Have you ever lived something that would prove or refute this?

El Periodo: Bendicion o Maldicion/Periods: Blessing or Curse?

Periods: Blessing or Curse?

Today on Wednesday of Controversy let's talk about Periods. That companion of women who can be sometimes a blessing and others a curse.

Here I come to bring on a debate. What do you consider periods to be? A blessing or a curse?
If we were to get technical, the period was basically a curse as it reads in Genesis 3:16

“to the woman He said:" I greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you shall bring forth children Yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. "

God cursed the woman so she would have pain while giving birth for disobeying God, and although the period is not actually the delivery, it is directly related to it.

Many women feel that the period is a curse because we bleed for several days, we feel fat, sensitive, often discouraged, or angry, sometimes with cravings, we can’t enjoy sex equally, and often the period is also accompanied by a pain that can be sometimes very difficult to tolerate.

For other women the period is a blessing, because the period is a sign that a woman is fertile. A woman who has a desire to have a child can consider the period to be a blessing, because the absence of it would signal that their most cherished dream is out of their reach.

In my opinion, women that consider the period to be a curse tend to be young or older women who have no interest in having children at the moment, and those who consider it a blessing are those who have the desire to become mothers in the near future, either for the first time or the tenth time.

I want men to also comment, do you think that the period is a blessing or a curse? Do you dare to have sex with their partners when they have their periods or do you think that's something unpleasant and anti-hygienic?
