El Periodo: Bendición o Maldición

Hoy en Miércoles de Controversia vamos a hablar del Periodo. Esa compañera de la mujer que en ocasiones puede ser una bendición y en otras una maldición.

Aquí vengo a traer un debate. ¿Que ustedes consideran que es el periodo? ¿Una bendición o una maldición?

Si vamos a ponernos técnicos, el periodo fue básicamente una maldición cuando en Génesis 3:16 dice 

“A la mujer dijo: "En gran manera multiplicaré Tu dolor en el parto, Con dolor darás a luz los hijos. Con todo, tu deseo será para tu marido, Y él tendrá dominio sobre ti."

Dios maldijo a la mujer dándole dolor en el parto por desobedecer a Dios, y aunque el periodo no es el parto, si está relacionado a él.

Muchas mujeres sienten que el periodo es una maldición porque sangramos por varios días, nos sentimos gordas, sensibles, muchas veces desanimadas, o con enojo, a veces con antojos, no podemos disfrutar igualmente del sexo, y muchas veces el periodo viene acompañado de unos dolores muy difíciles a veces de tolerar.

Para otras mujeres el periodo es una bendición, ya que el periodo es señal de que la mujer es fértil. Una mujer que tenga el deseo de tener un hijo puede considerar el periodo una bendición, ya que la ausencia de él, seria señal de que su sueño más preciado esta fuera de su alcance.

En mi opinión, las mujeres que consideran el periodo una tortura son mujeres jóvenes o muy mayores que no tienen ningún interés de tener hijos por el momento, y las que lo consideran una bendición son aquellas que tienen el deseo de algún día no muy lejano poder lograr ser madres, ya sea por primera vez o por décima vez.

¿Qué me dicen, hombres, también comenten, ustedes piensan que el periodo es una bendición o una maldición? ¿Se atreven a tener sexo con sus parejas en el periodo o piensan que eso es algo desagradable e anti-higiénico?

Periods: Blessing or Curse?

Today on Wednesday of Controversy let's talk about Periods. That companion of women who can be sometimes a blessing and others a curse.

Here I come to bring on a debate. What do you consider periods to be? A blessing or a curse?

If we were to get technical, the period was basically a curse as it reads in Genesis 3:16

“to the woman He said:" I greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you shall bring forth children Yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. "

God cursed the woman so she would have pain while giving birth for disobeying God, and although the period is not actually the delivery, it is directly related to it.

Many women feel that the period is a curse because we bleed for several days, we feel fat, sensitive, often discouraged, or angry, sometimes with cravings, we can’t enjoy sex equally, and often the period is also accompanied by a pain that can be sometimes very difficult to tolerate.

For other women the period is a blessing, because the period is a sign that a woman is fertile. A woman who has a desire to have a child can consider the period to be a blessing, because the absence of it would signal that their most cherished dream is out of their reach.

In my opinion, women that consider the period to be a curse tend to be young or older women who have no interest in having children at the moment, and those who consider it a blessing are those who have the desire to become mothers in the near future, either for the first time or the tenth time.
